The prices of petrol and diesel fell in the global market, but instead of giving relief to the people of Pakistan, the government increased the prices of petrol and high speed diesel.


According to private TV "Dunya News, the government of Pakistan is earning 64 rupees 17 paise on petrol and 21 rupees 6 paise per liter on high-speed diesel. Despite the low oil prices in the world market, the government is struggling due to high electricity bills. Instead of giving relief to the nation, it added more burden.


According to private TV, the purchase price of petrol of oil companies is 172 rupees 81 paise per liter which is being sold to the public at 237 rupees 43 paise, levy of 37 rupees per liter, freight margin of 4.76 rupees, district margin of 3.68 rupees. And dealers margin of 7 rupees is imposed. The purchase price of diesel is 224 rupees 69 paisa but it is being sold to the public for 245 rupees 75 paisa.


According to private TV, the government is currently earning 56 billion 85 million rupees per month on gasoline at the rate of 1 billion 89 million rupees per day. are
